Dhrupad - A Classical Art of Vocal Music
A short film capturing the lost form of Vocal music art; Dhrupad is a genre in Hindustani classical music from the Indian subcontinent. It is the oldest known style of major vocal styles associated with Hindustani classical music. The film is focused on a traditional style music group (Dhrupad) based in Kathmandu Nepal, where the Guru's will give personal attention to details to their students who lives within the institute and practices this style of music (also known as Gurukul).

With all the promises from governmental bodies over the years, one thing is very apparent is that they will only act according to their personal agenda. With an ever changing Earth we are becoming aware to the damage caused by humans on the planets soil. This video was created to let the local people of Nepal know that, voting can be crucial if the elected body is responsible on helping the farmers and boosting natural resources without harmful pesticides and poisonous chemicals in our food.
Food Relief for Chepang Community by ForestAction
Food relief was provided to 200 Chepang families of Churidanda ward no. 5 Raksirang Rural Municipality and Tapang Ward no. 13 Rapti Municipality of Makwanpur and Chitwan, respectively The package was distributed to poor and marginalized families who were in food crisis during the lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trapped in a vicious cycle of landlessness, poverty, exclusion and human rights abuses, most Haliya’s are Dalit and considered “untouchables” sitting at the bottom of the Hindu caste system.
Often, money lenders and land owners from upper castes such as Bhramins and Chetries would lend out small amounts of money, entrapping entire Haliya families to work their land in order to pay back the debt.




CEPP - Government School conditions
This short video is mainly focusing on government schools of Nepal in Tarai region of Madesh. These children are growing up in harsh conditions without any help from peers or schools provided by the local government. The teachers are very underpaid and are struggling to keep the resources for the school for further improvement. The children are quite helpless as they are starving everyday, surrounded by drugs and diseases and most of them end up working in a field even before finishing their class 5.
The images below are from the exhibition named, Instutional Locomotors, which was created by Me and 5 artists from Nepal and 2 artists from Switzerland. After the portraits were taken, each artists chose a portrait and depicted their feelings through the images used in the background of each portrait. These images are for sale and the money will go to the CEPP foundation.
